Privacy Policy
and Cookie Policy

This policy is valid and effective from 5 June 2026.

Welcome to aestio.cz. Protecting your privacy and personal data is our absolute priority. This policy explains what data we collect, why we do so, how we handle it and what rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

1. Who we are (Data controller)

The controller of your personal data is:

  • Company: Aestio
  • Company ID (IČO): 09265325
  • Registered office: Říčky 165, 664 83 Říčky, Czech Republic
  • Contact e-mail: info@aestio.cz

(hereinafter “we” or the “controller”).

2. What personal data we process and why

We process personal data only to the extent necessary and for clearly defined purposes. We process data in two basic situations:

A) When you contact us via the form

If you use the contact form on our website, we process the data you fill in.

  • Data processed: Name, surname, e-mail address, optionally phone number and the content of your message.
  • Purpose: Answering your question, processing your inquiry or pre-contractual negotiations.
  • Legal basis: Processing is necessary for negotiations on concluding a contract (or our legitimate interest in communicating with you).
  • Retention period: We keep your data for the time needed to handle your inquiry, but no longer than 1 year from our last communication, unless a collaboration begins.

B) When you browse our website (Analytics and security)

When you visit aestio.cz we collect certain data about your behaviour and device to keep the website working and to improve it.

  • Data processed: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and time spent on the website.
  • Purpose: Ensuring the security and functionality of the website, producing anonymised traffic statistics and measuring the effectiveness of our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest (for essential technical operation) and your consent (for analytics and marketing — Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel).

3. Who has access to your data (Processors)

We do not sell your data or provide it to unauthorised third parties. To run the website and our services we use the following vetted providers, who act as processors and meet strict data-protection standards:

  • Vercel Inc. – Hosts our website. May access basic technical logs (e.g. IP addresses) to ensure the security and availability of the website.
  • Resend – A service used to securely deliver e-mails from our contact form to our e-mail address.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) – A website traffic analysis service. Google collects data about user behaviour using cookies (see below). Data may be transferred to servers in the USA, with protection ensured by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel) – A tool for measuring the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and for targeting it. Using cookies (see below), Meta collects data about your visit to our website and may link it to your account on those platforms if you have one. For the collection and transmission of this data we act as joint controllers together with Meta; Meta’s subsequent processing is carried out as a separate controller under its own privacy policy. Data may be transferred to servers in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. We only run this tool with your consent.

4. Your rights under the GDPR

In relation to your personal data you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: You can request information about what data of yours we process.
  • Right to rectification: If your data is inaccurate or outdated, you have the right to have it corrected.
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): You can request deletion of your personal data if it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected.
  • Right to restriction of processing and right to object: Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interest.
  • Right to data portability: The right to receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on your consent (e.g. analytics and marketing cookies), you can withdraw it at any time via the settings on our website.

You can send your requests to info@aestio.cz. If you believe we are not handling your data in accordance with the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).

5. Cookie policy

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser. They help us ensure the basic functioning of the website, analyse traffic and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

We do not link necessary and analytics cookies to other data and they do not allow us to identify you personally (e.g. we will not learn your name or address unless you tell us yourself). This does not apply to marketing cookies — Meta may link them to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one.

What kinds of cookies do we use?

1. Necessary (technical) cookies

These are required for the website to work properly (e.g. storing your cookie preferences or ensuring security through Vercel hosting). These cookies cannot be switched off and do not require your consent.

2. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

These cookies let us count visits and identify traffic sources. They tell us how visitors behave on the website (e.g. which pages are read the most), which helps us improve it. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and anonymous. We only run these cookies if you give us consent in our cookie bar.

3. Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel)

These cookies let us see whether you reached the website from our advertising on Facebook or Instagram, measure how well it performs and show ads to people with similar interests. Unlike analytics cookies, the data collected this way may be linked to your account on Meta platforms. We only run these cookies if you give us consent in our cookie bar.
